Evans and Louise Estabrook Endowed Presidential Scholarship

The Evans and Louise Estabrook Endowed Presidential Scholarship provides University wide scholarship support for UT Tyler students enrolled full time maintaining 3.0 GPA. Evans was born in Fayetteville, NY and graduated from Cornell University. After serving as a LT in the US Marine Corps during WWII, he was employed by General Electric Company. In 1951 he organized Estabrook Printing and Publishing. He was also a poet, and as a tribute, his wife published his works as, A Medley of Memories. Louise was a native of Vinita, OK and a graduate of the University of Wisconsin. She was one of the founders of the Tyler Junior League and a vital part of the Tyler Rose Festival Association.
