James Robert and Rosalis Montgomery Endowed Scholarship Fund was established utilizing contributions from the sale of the book “An Innocent Abroad” combined with matching gifts from the Exxon Foundation and numerous donors. The scholarship is to be awarded to a student in the Humanities Department at the University of Texas at Tyler and working toward a English or History degree
